- Keep affordable energy as an option as we transition to green energy
- Diversify our energy production portfolio to drive down the overall cost of our supply

Representing East Haddam, East Hampton, and Salem requires vision. Meghan’s pledge is to:
- Advocate for responsible development that preserves the small-town nature of our towns while expanding the tax base to include more businesses.
- Pay down long-term pension debt
- Incentivize small business growth with low-interest loans
- Offer loan forgiveness and other benefits for in-demand jobs
- Invest in education to create a competitive talent pipeline.

Connecticut seniors are being priced out of the towns they helped build. We need to protect fixed incomes through targeted tax relief, expanded housing options, and investments in home care.
- Expand eligibility and credit caps for the state’s senior property tax relief "circuit breaker" program
- Preserve and expand state tax exemptions on Social Security, pension, and retirement distributions
- Increase state funding for accessible, downsized senior housing and independent living communities
- Protect and fully fund the Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders (CHCPE) so seniors can age in place safely
- Provide tax credits for family caregivers paying out-of-pocket for home modifications and health support

As an educator endorsed by labor unions, I know firsthand that investing in public education from early childhood through post-secondary learning is the single most powerful tool we have to strengthen Connecticut's workforce, support working families, and build an equitable economy.
- Modernize the Education Cost Sharing (ECS) foundation grant to keep pace with real inflation and deliver funding directly to local school classrooms
- Protect and expand state funding for early childhood education, universal Pre-K, and after-school programs to support working parents
- Fully reimburse municipalities for special education excess costs to ensure every student receives individualized support without squeezing local school budgets
- Elevate the teaching profession by addressing teacher shortages, lowering student-to-educator ratios, and protecting fair collective bargaining rights
- Fully fund higher education pipelines through state universities, community colleges, and debt-free tuition initiatives like PACT to train the next generation of local workers
